Trace Analysis by Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy
In this webinar replay, The principles of optical, infrared and Raman microscopy are presented as well as examples of their applicability to trace evidence, including fibers, documents, propellents, and more. A background on condom lubricant trace evidence is also discussed. Special focus is also given to sample preparation and analysis of condom lubricant traces using FTIR. Case studies involving the use of FTIR for determining the presence of condom lubricant traces are also presented.
